The team at Daisa Publishing may be small but we are mighty!
Collectively we have over 70 years' experience in business. Wayne has been illustrating for over 30 years and we welcomed him to the team in September.
We understand that finding your feet in the Publishing Industry can be a struggle. The five of us have had many walks of life and found ourselves in publishing via different pathways. We all bring our own backgrounds, expertise and knowledge not only to the team, but to those we work with side by side during the publishing process.
How much would it cost me to get published with Daisa Publishing?
Every book is different and therefore every price is too. The cost depends on many factors (page count, paper type, illustrations,...) which makes it very difficult for us to give you a price before we see your manuscript. We ensure you can receive your return on investment.
How long do I have to wait for a response once I submitted my manuscript?
We will get back to you within 2 weeks.
Do I lose my copyright if I get published with Daisa Publishing?
No. The copyright stays with the author.
Does Daisa Publishing accept every manuscript?
No we don't accept every submission.
How do I prepare my manuscript for submission?
Here are a few tips you could use to help you prepare your manuscript for submission:
Provide a manuscript that is typed up, if you also have an electronic copy that would be ideal.
Use single spacing, pt. 12, standard font (i.e. Times New Roman or Calibri).
Use the Spellcheck facility on Microsoft Word.
Perform a personal edit - when you've finished writing your manuscript, leave it for a short time and re-read it with fresh eyes. You'll find you'll be able to identify areas for improvement easier than before.
How long does it take for a book from start to finish to be published?
We roughly say from around 3 months, however this depends on many variables ( is the manuscript ready, how much editing is required, are illustrations required, etc...)
